Digital Version - Skylab: "We Fix Anything!" Vol.1
We Fix Anything!
What you’re about to watch is pure space history! The complete* collection of TV material recorded on Skylab and a digital copy of the original DVD set Vol. 1.
Skylab used the same color TV system as Apollo—cool tech, but it came with visual glitches. Westinghouse cameras added artifacts and contributed to the image degradation. The archival copies of the original broadcasts were preserved as 16mm kinescopes—as film-based copies of the video signal. Over 50+ years, the quality has naturally affected the recordings, but every effort has been made to restore the footage.
*As far as I find after 20 years of research. [Dwight Steven-Boniecki]
